Tonight (Thursday, January 23rd) at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET, grief and trauma expert Meghan Riordan Jarvis will be at Zibby’s Bookshop in Santa Monica and on a livestream. (You can watch the livestream after, too. It will be recorded.)
Meghan will discuss why it’s normal to experience brain fog, memory loss, disruptions in appetite, sleep and mood, and share techniques that will help to support the grieving mind and body. Meghan will answer questions and offer resources.

Meghan Riordan Jarvis, MA, LCSW is a psychotherapist, author, podcast host (Grief is My Side Hustle), two-time Tedx Speaker, educator, corporate consultant and sought after keynote speaker specializing in trauma and grief and loss.
Meghan’s personal experience with grief and trauma combined with her 20 years in clinical practice inspired the creation of Grief Mentor Method (TM) an interactive therapeutic process used to teach anyone adjusting to loss how to create personalized grief-informed daily practices.
Meghan founded the GRIEFTASTIC Book Fair (“Like your middle school book festival, only sadder”) and is on the board of The William Wendt Center for Loss and Healing. Her book Can Anyone Tell Me? Essential Questions About Grief and Loss published with Sounds True Media in October of 2024. Her memoir about her personal experience with PTSD after the deaths of her parents titled End of the Hour published with Zibby Publishing in November 2023.
