Review bombing situation!
You don’t have to be Jewish to help. You just have to be a good person.
Ah, yes. Another morning, another example of antisemitic trolls trying to take down a Jewish creative project. It’s just another day in our post-October 7th world. Ironically, that’s exactly what this project is about.
My husband Kyle and I are associate producers on the upcoming film called “October 8,” produced and directed by Wendy Sachs. (Trailer here.)
got us involved early on, and then we looped in my brother, Teddy Schwarzman, who ended up becoming an executive producer. The film will be released on March 14th in theaters across the country and is designed to shed light on the rise of antisemitism, intentionally fostered over 20+ years, and its effects on college campuses and beyond. It highlights warriors in the crusade to crush hate. It highlights unfairness. It highlights what we all need to know. It tells an untold story.
It is now being review bombed, which means people are giving it one star to intentionally bring down its rating on IMDB, thereby limiting its success. But you can help. Please give “October 8” nine or ten stars.
We’re offering a private screening of “October 8” as part of our On Being Jewish Now: Live in N.Y. event in New York on April 5th with a talk-back after with Wendy Sachs. Wendy will also be a panelist at our L.A. On Being Jewish Now: Live in L.A. event on March 23rd. Attend either event to learn more about the film from her. Tickets are on sale on Eventbrite here.

Please support this important documentary. Buy tickets to see it in theaters. Attend our events. Post about it. Give it ten stars. Watch it and learn. Educate yourself and others — an essential ingredient in combatting hate for Jews and for America.
Stand up for what’s right. Stand up for goodness. All you have to do today to make a difference is click.
Done. In a way, I hope the pro Hamas cult protests this important film. It will prove the just how spot on this documentary is.
Done! Rated 10! So important that the truth be known, and you are right, you do not need to be Jewish to see the horror in this!
