Thank you, Zibby. That was beautiful. So glad to know about her, even if it comes too late to know her. Running to buy and read her book now.

This is so sad and I’m so very sorry. Books and podcasts have such a beautiful way of bringing us together and creating these kinds of friendships that I am so grateful for. I’m so happy you and Sarah were able to meet and became friends because you’re truly a gift.

I Just bought her book and I’m a third of the way through it already - I am so so sorry about what happened to her and what she had to go through. Devastating. Thank you for promoting her memoir and her beautiful life. 🙏❤️

Oh Zibby, thank you for sharing - your relationship, the beautiful words exchanged back and forth. And thank you for highlighting this fundamental truth - we can connect with someone through reading their book and learning about them through a Zoom screen or their social media posts. Sending love to her family and loved ones, and to you.

I am so sorry! I don't know her and I got all choked up and started crying after I read your post and watched her reel. This is so sad. I will read her memoir. What an amazing woman and story. It's amazing how books connect us! You are right, don't wait to see people talk to them tell you that you love them. Life is too short. ❤️

How utterly devastating… I never knew Sarah but somehow feel her loss- particularly as a breast cancer survivor myself. I will read sarah’s memoir and in that, hopefully know her in some small way

A beautiful tribute. May her memory be a blessing. Sorry to hear about this loss and intrigued by her writing. I just watched “We were the lucky ones” (highly recommend and I’ll be reviewing it for my Substack) and bawled for an hour so my presence of mind is right there with you. All we can hope for is to be seen and accepted and appreciated. Sounds like you did that for one another.
