Read why we celebrate all traditions around here in my New York Post essay! ENJOY THE FESTIVITIES! Perhaps the universe is sending us a message with this timing!? Although what message am I being sent that I got Covid two days ago during “my” week of vacation with the kids?! Grrrr.
By the way, if you’re really late or regretting not giving someone a more thoughtful gift, give your favorite book lover a spot at one of our upcoming retreats in NYC or Santa Barbara (Santa! Get it?), covered by USA Today. Buy online and print this out!
Speaking of USA Today, On Being Jewish Now hit the USA Today Bestseller list today for the 7th week(!!!) and was included in a People magazine Hanukkah book round-up. Thanks for helping us, readers! And thanks to our 75 stellar contributors!
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah, friends! Let’s bring joy to the world.
Love this. I'm a Catholic who has been married to a Jew for 32 years. In the beginning of our relationship, we felt like we were one of the only interfaith couples navigating this interfaith relationship. We've raised our kids Jewish, had a Christmas tree, celebrated Hanukkah, done it all! It's truly a blessing.
Great NY Post article. There is room for everyone's traditions. I'm enjoying wearing my "Ugly Hannukah Sweater" this week.
