Are you someone who loves to plan or someone who lives spontaneously? I’m the worst: I make tons of plans and constantly change them. So what does that make me?! Check out the fun, bookish happenings over the next two weeks and either add to cal right now or just show up! Also, check out my upcoming book club picks, hear my big podcast plans, and more.
The Zibby-verse: Spring Break
Anyone else’s kids on Spring Break? Are you traveling? Are you excited to get out and attend some really fun events near you!? Check out where I’ll be all over the country the next two weeks and join me at these Zibby-verse tour happenings. Tell your friends who live there, too!
Also, Zibby Media has a fabulous partnership with the Montage Hotels & Resorts (see article in Hotel Business here)! We have Zibby’s Bookshop bookshelves in all their properties’ gift shops with curated-by-location titles, our trademark Farrow & Ball wallpaper, and info about us. If your travels are taking you to these destinations or you live near them, please pop by the Montage’s gift shops to find your next read:

Other Big News
On Tuesday, April 9th, I’ll be changing the frequency of my podcast Moms Don’t Have Time to Read Books from daily (seven days a week) — which I’ve been doing since March 2020 when lockdown began — back to twice a week. Apparently, moms don't have time to listen to that many podcasts.
(And no, my podcast is NOT just for moms, but you all know that by now!)
But if you want to listen to a new podcast every day, you still can! My backlist has 1,800 episodes. (I think there are three of you who have listened to them all!?) Plus I have new fun content planned that will LIVE RIGHT HERE ON SUBSTACK!
And you’re already here! How cool is that?
What You’ll Get
Playlists. I’ll be releasing a new curated podcast playlist every week from my back catalog. Any requests?
Thinking: celebrity episodes; 1990’s heroes; books that make you cry; books that make you tremble, etc. Inspired by categories at Zibby’s Bookshop and just fun listening.
Conversations. I’ll be sharing select event conversations between two fabulous authors that have happened recently at Zibby’s Bookshop.
Video episodes. For my monthly book club picks and select other episodes, I’ll be sharing highly produced video content. Think: TV talk show, NOT Zoom.
I just did my first one with Susan Lieu, The Manicurist’s Daughter. She cried so many times we had to stop and get tissues. You’ll have to watch.
Live podcasts. I’m bringing back salon events with one to two authors and me in front of a live audience. I’ll be sharing those conversations only here as well.
Giveaways. Suggestions about things I’m obsessed with. And other more fun stuff to come!
Book Club
Hope you’re signed up! Here’s what we’re reading now through August! Join here.
Input Welcome
Always open to feedback. Let me know if you have thoughts, comments, suggestions, and more! I aim to please. Have a great Spring Break! Clearly I won’t be relaxing (haha), but I’ll be having fun. This whole thing is a dream come true.
Happy to say I finished “After Annie” and can’t wait for the virtual book club hybrid event. I have my questions ready!
Just incredible how you sustained a daily podcast for that long! Congrats on all the big changes!
